Liberate the Earth

Liberate the Earth is a site-responsive work that explores our relationship to and dependency on the earth. The choreography is designed to lead audiences on a journey through a landscape and land at specific geographies to interact with what occupies the land. It was originally created for Art Omi sculpture park in Ghent, NY, where the work interacted with several sculptures in the park. The opening section is participatory and performed with community members who learn and perform the section with the professional dancers.
