Water…We Waiting For?

This project, commissioned by Texas A&M, explored water use and rights in the desert southwestern United States and resource conservation through upcycling. It included classroom and student integration culminating in festival of art and action on the campus’ Aggie Park.

Dance students learned the opening section of a dance created for Aggie Park and performed it with professional performers.

Movement Integration

Dress in World Cultures class created fashion items from recycled materials reflecting various cultural traditions and styles. These creations were featured in a fashion parade through the park’s main lawn.

Trashion Creation

Students in Performance Studies created a relay game that challenged audiences to think about water resources, use and conservation in a fun interactive manner.
