Immersive Performance Tours bring audiences on a journey through Gowanus to sites that are significant to the superfund remediation of the Gowanus Canal, New York City’s first superfund site due to extreme toxicity, and the rezoning of the neighborhood, the largest in NYC in 20 years, both of which are underway. The areas history from an environmental justice perspective is shared, along with neighborhood stories and perspectives.
